Automatically Engages Locking Points When Door Closes
36″ Handle Height, 42 1/4″ Roller Pin Release Trigger Measured Up From Bottom Of The Door.

All Hoppe AUTOMATIC locks below have a set handle height of 36 Inches, These locks work a little differently. Hoppe Automatic locks have a “trigger release roller pin” at 42 1/4″ from the bottom of the door panel, instead of a mis-handling device wedge between the striker latch and dead bolt. When closing the door, the trigger release strike a special mechanical keeper and fires the spring loaded lock to engage it’s edge locking points. Turn the thumb turn to lock the door. Lifting the lever handle is not necessary to engage locking points. Hoppe automatic locks are not offered with top and bottom shootbolts.
